One of the things I love about Second Life is that you can do things here that you can do nowhere else. For instance, this photo was shot underwater. I thought it was pretty cool.

This look was made up with two more new releases from coldLogic, another pair of the trousers in a different color, this time blue. Secondly, I’m showing the coldLogic top Larsen in blue. The jewelry is all the group gift from last month at WTG. The hair is more Alice Project and the skin is Curio. I added some makeup this time, which I normally don’t, so I thought I’d give it a go. Both makeups are from Blacklace Beauty. The shoes are the new ones from J’s and the pose is from fri.day.

 In my final post of the day, I’m featuring two more items from Grenade Free Wednesday at Jersey Shore. The hot little dress and cute skin can both be found for a great price until midnight SLT, slurls are in the style notes. I paired them with this hair from Exile that you can find at The Dressing Room Blue in a four pack. The armband tattoo is from Collisions and the sexy stockins are from League. I’ve got on these sexy little ankle boots from Slink again, just to finish off the look with a little bit of mesh.

Six Years is a Long Time

Today marks six years in SL for me. How am I celebrating? Cleaning out my inventory! I’m over the 60k mark and really want to get it down. Plus, it’s such a mess that I can  never find anything anyway. Anyway, six years in Second Life is like forever. I’ve seen so much come and go..the birth of flexi, the start of sculpts, and now, the beginning of mesh. Many, many other things as well, but those were at the top of my mind.

It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride in world and I look forward to whatever is still to come!

Black as Night

I’m all about the mesh lately, though I still find some pieces are better in sculpts or flexi right now. So, I’ve been mixing and matching, but my favorites so far have been boots from Slink. The first pair was thigh high and simply amazing and this new pair I have on above, just stunning. I’m not even an ankle boot type of girl, but I had to have these as soon as I saw them. I’ve also got on some mesh hair from Alice Project and a selection of items from the Grunge Soul Project. I like the finished  look here.

I’ve got this song stuck in my head today and I’ve been drowning myself in replays. So, thus begins today’s post. However, the high point of this point is these magical Slink thigh high boots, for mesh enabled viewers. I got a pair for a gift a couple days ago, and I’ve not taken them off since. Maybe I’ll just wear them forever! I’m currently using the Firestorm Mesh Beta, and I suggest you give it a look if you can’t see mesh in your viewer yet. I can see wondeful things emerging from mesh, and this is just the beginning.
